We follow a stringent infection control policy as outlined in our office manual which incorporates recommendations from the American Dental Association, the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

All instruments that have any direct contact with the patient’s mouth are either heat sterilized, chemically sterilized or chemically disinfected depending on their ability to withstand heat. Dental handpieces (drills) are always heat sterilized. These methods of sterilization, which meet prescribed standards, kill the microscopic organisms capable of causing disease.

In addition, all employees undergo training in infection control and disease prevention. We want you to feel comfortable when visiting us – knowing that your health is our foremost concern.
